This role supports the Sial Laboratory during the field season and works in Alma, GA. Responsibilities include setting up field experiments, collecting data on various projects, and working independently with researchers. The position involves long hours in the field and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Travel to and from the research farm is required; a lab vehicle is available for use.
Qualifications- Background in entomology, biology, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive as needed.
- Physical stamina to work long hours in the field and in extreme temperatures.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with researchers.
- Not required to hold a P‑Card or provide financial control.
- Not a position of trust or involving direct interaction with children.
