Post Bacc Research Associate – temporary, non‑exempt research associate position at the University of Georgia’s Center for Developmental Science. The Associate will assist with human subject research projects conducted during family visits in participant homes, public spaces, and at the BIRC center ponsibilities include coordinating visit teams and ensuring adherence to established protocols.
Duties / Responsibilities- Conduct research visits, including home drop‑off of materials and family visits at the BIRC center (70% of time).
- Communicate with families as needed to prepare for visits, answer questions, ensure informed consent, etc. (20% of time).
- Monitor data collection before, during, and after visits to ensure proper protocols followed, and organize URA efforts to assist in data collection preparation and offloading (10% of time).
Job Classification:
Temporary, Office/Clerical (FLSA Non‑Exempt). FTE: 0.375.
Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a background investigation including a criminal background check, verification of credentials and employment history, a credit check if applicable, and possibly a pre‑employment drug test for positions with high‑risk responsibilities.
