Position Summary:
Candidate will be responsible for basic soil chemical, physical, and biological analyses and will be encouraged to work on their own research project.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Work – 70%
- Data Analysis – 20%
- Field Work – 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Open to undergraduate students at UGA and other USG schools, preference for those enrolled in a degree in soils and water, community forestry and arboriculture, and forestry.
- Experience in laboratory work and safety, fieldwork and safety, data analysis, writing, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Physical Demands:
This position includes some standing, computer work, outdoor work with potential exposure to weather conditions.
