Position Summary:

A temporary/lab research position is needed to work in the soybean research lab to take agronomic notes, collect data, and harvest soybean research plots in the field. This position will work in the seed lab to weigh and clean samples, thresh individual plants, and prepare seed for spring planting.

• Take agronomic notes, collect data, and harvest soybean research plots in the field (45% of time).
• Work in seed lab: weigh and clean samples, thresh individual plants, and prepare seed for spring planting (45% of time).
• Greenhouse work: planting, harvesting, and cleaning (10% of time).

• High school diploma preferred.
• Physical demands: lifting up to 50 lbs, overtime hours during planting and harvesting season, working in fields and greenhouse in extreme heat, traveling.
• Driving required.
