- Design and conduct independent research on microfluidic and 3D printed platforms for cell migration studies. (
40% of time) - Develop, optimize, and execute cell-based microfluidic assays, including sample preparation, cell culture, microscopy, and experimental workflow refinement. (
25% of time) - Analyze and interpret quantitative data related to cell migration, device performance, and assay outcomes. (
15% of time) - Prepare manuscripts, conference materials, and grant-related research documents. (
10% of time) - Support laboratory operations and provide mentorship or technical guidance to students and junior researchers. (
10% of time)
- Education: PhD in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge: microfluidic device design and operation; 3D printing and prototyping for mammalian cell culture; cell migration assays; fluorescence microscopy and image analysis; biomaterials and surface modification
