Position Summary:
A Temporary Technical Paraprofessional will assist with projects and tasks in laboratory, greenhouse, field, and office. The employee will be assigned various tasks throughout the year depending upon availability, skill set, and program needs. Research is conducted at multiple locations and travel to farms and facilities is required to perform some duties. The individual must be detail oriented, accept instruction, and willing to work in various environments, working well with others.

Strong organizational skills; basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.); effective communication and multitasking; punctual and reliable.
- Work inside and outside in hot and cold temperatures.
- Coexist with insects, pollen, and temperature stress.
- Manual duties include transplanting and weeding.
- Driving required.
- No P‑Card access; no security access; not a position of trust.
