The Host will greet and escort guests to tables, answer phones, and manage reservations in the Open Table database.

Responsibilities include:

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their table.
• Maintain the host desk and keep all menus tidy, clean, and neat.
• Record and arrange reservations and special functions.
• Maintain open communication between guests, management, and team members.
• Observe all safety procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a team.

• Knowledge of restaurant operations, service equipment, and guest relations.
• Ability to read English to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, and event orders.
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.

Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and stoop.

Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a high school graduation that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must maintain a neat, clean, well‑groomed appearance (specific standards available). Full flexibility to accommodate varying schedules to reflect business needs.
