Shift supervisor, Retail

Position Summary:

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

• Management: work effectively with store management and crew; supervise the crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities; communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Customer Service: assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking; handle all customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers; maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise/Presentation: price merchandise; stock shelves; execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; maintain off‑shelf merchandise displays; reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnight, and weekend shifts; willingness to work overtime and respond to urgent store issues as needed.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Anticipated weekly hours: 24 hours (part‑time). Pay range: $16.00 per hour.
