Reporting to the National Sales Director – US, you will focus on building and supporting Lallemand Plant Care's microbial business with concentrated efforts through our distributors, retails, and end-user customers across Michigan and Ohio markets. You will serve as a technical ambassador; helping to train our customers in the proper use of our products, troubleshooting challenges when required and representing our company at relevant trade shows and industry meetings.
You will collaborate primarily with colleagues from the Lallemand Plant Care Sales, Marketing and Field Solutions teams but also with other teams such as Supply Chain, R&D and Product Management.
Your main missions will be, but are not limited to:
- New business development and excellent customer support.
- Customer training and education relating to our technology and innovation.
- Demand creation tactics with end-user customers to support market development (e.g., retail and farm calls, grower meetings etc.).
- Territory field trial campaign developed and executed upon annually to support new product launches and business development.
- Attendance at regional trade shows and industry meetings.
- Contribute to our team’s success in exceeding our annual business growth targets and managing annual territory expense budget.
- Keen interest in business development and building innovative brands in the market with retails and growers.
- Organized with strong planning abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong written and verbal communication.
- Logical with a strong degree of common sense.
- Large sense of autonomy and initiative.
- Self-aware, reflective, and able to learn from mistakes. Shows an ability to learn quickly while on the job and through formal training.
