An Inside Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining, identifying, and growing the customer base, providing consistent and superior customer service, increasing sales and margin, and following up on all accounts.

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations
• Provide accurate project management of project orders
• Serve multiple customer types including contractors, government, commercial, and industrial accounts
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers
• Enter orders for different jobs for different customers
• Set up certain customers on blanket agreements
• Follow up on product deliveries
• Assist on the sales counter
• Maintain courtesy and politeness toward customers
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Perform other duties as required

• High School diploma or GED
• 1–2 years counter experience, with preference for the electrical distribution industry

• Solid customer service background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  Eclipse knowledge preferred
• Good mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic
