Senior District Sales Manager – Remote (Ohio, Pennsylvania) – Full Time

Reports to:

Regional Vice President of Sales

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding Pro Ag’s insurance offerings.
  • Drive additional business through agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Ohio and Pennsylvania, while maintaining a database of current and prospective agents.
  • Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts to help them grow and manage their business.
  • Become a subject‑matter expert on Pro Ag’s products, business, and applications, and stay up to date on industry trends.
  • Gain and maintain a clear understanding of Crop Insurance and Pro Ag’s Standard Reinsurance Agreement.
  • Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify changes in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to prepare for and deliver training or educational events with regional training staff on Pro Ag programs, products, and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other relevant duties and projects assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of sales experience; crop insurance experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to facilitate cross‑functionally.
  • Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to the company’s business.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% outside the normal work location.
  • Strong independent work ethic with focus on achieving organizational goals.
  • Ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies.
