Position: Sales Executive (Lexington and Louisville, KY)

Position Summary

Payroll Partners, a leading provider of Human Capital Management solutions in Northern KY and Southern OH, is experiencing tremendous growth. We are looking for a Sales Executives to join our team and grow within our organization. Applicants should be motivated, engaging and thoughtful sales executives who are focused on creating new business relationships that will help us reach key business objectives.

Job Requirements

As a Sales Executive, you will work in a proactive role to develop and secure new business for Payroll Partners as you identify and cultivate new business opportunities. You will independently manage full sales cycles, sell our payroll and full HRIS solutions to business owners and accurately forecast sales pipeline by utilizing our Zoho CRM.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work within a defined territory targeting prospects that match pre-defined buyer profile criteria
  • Quickly identify goals and challenges that prospective clients face and present the best payroll solution for their business
  • Respond to prospects within agreed upon timeframe
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon weekly activity goals
  • Consistently close new business at or above quota level
  • Nurture relationships with highly qualified opportunities
  • Build relationships with prospects, internal stakeholders and referral sources, such as accounting firms, banks and brokers to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with Payroll Partners marketing, technology and support departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced
  • Help shape the future of Payroll Partners mission with your perspectives, ideas, and skills
  • Present ideas and best practices to prospective clients
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of our HCM services, industry and clients’ industries
  • Deliver effective payroll technology demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Maintain ongoing relationship with new clients
  • Project a positive image in representing Payroll Partners to clients and the community
Skills/Abilities
  • Ambitious spirit, with demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas

Education/Experience
  • 3 plus years of B2B sales experience in payroll, technology, business equipment, or software sales
Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The position is considered to have light physical demands that require the incumbent to communicate orally, hear at a conversational level and perform job tasks requiring the use of a telephone, fax, and computer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to continuously (67 to 100% time on job) perform keying functions, grasp and pinch to write.

The employee frequently (80% time on job) will be required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally (20% time on job), the employee will be required to reach out, twist and stoop. In rare instances the employee will be required to kneel, squat, climb a ladder and crawl. The lifting and carrying requirements of the job require the employee to frequently (34-66% of the time) lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

The incumbent will constantly work (more than 75% time on job) indoors in an office environment.
