Position Overview & Responsibilities

Z-Band Technologies is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Territory Sales Manager to own and grow a multi-state territory across the Southwest and Pacific regions. This full-time, salaried position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening channel partner relationships, and expanding customer engagement within the professional AV and IP video distribution marketplace. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and managing a territory through a consultative sales approach.

The successful candidate will thrive working independently, developing new opportunities, and managing the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through project close. Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 annually, plus uncapped monthly commission tied to territory performance. This position is based on-site at our headquarters in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Territory Ownership & Business Development
    • Own and grow a multi-state territory across the Southwest and Pacific regions.
    • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on revenue generation and market expansion.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, trade shows, and channel partner engagement.
    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
    • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
    • Achieve and exceed established sales objectives and performance metrics.
  • Client & Channel Partner Development
    • Develop strong relationships with system integrators, consultants, installers, distributors, and end users.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer challenges and recommending appropriate Z-Band solutions.
    • Support channel partners through product education, technical sales guidance, and joint customer engagement.
    • Maintain regular communication with customers and partners to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Technical Sales & Collaboration
    • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations with technical accuracy and confidence.
    • Learn and effectively communicate the value of Z-Band's RF and IP video distribution solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support customer success and project execution.
    • Represent Z-Band Technologies at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and other business development activities.
  • CRM & Strategic Planning
    • Utilize Hub Spot CRM to manage pipeline activity, document customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
    • Consistently track sales activity, follow‑up commitments, opportunities, and account information.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to support territory planning and growth strategies.
    • Develop annual business plans and sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Qualifications & Additional Details

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience independently managing and growing a geographic sales territory.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Strong consultative selling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate product and business value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline activity and customer relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet vehicle rental requirements.
