Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking an Egg Sales Assistant to join our team in Fort Recovery.

The primary goal of this position is to work with the Sales team regarding sales related duties and assure that all necessary administrative assignments are completed in a timely manner. Confidentiality in this position is critical.

Monday through Friday (8:00a - 4:30p)

From $20.00/hr

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

• Track daily inventory levels and grader reports for all facilities
• Update Daily Runsheet in order to track daily and weekly sales progress while ensuring its overall accuracy
• Work closely with plants regarding correct paperwork for shipments, status of orders, and any other issues that arise
• Input all orders into the accounting and production systems
• Price plant BOL’s and submit to accounting for billing
• Track intercompany transfers and price accordingly for accounting
• Keep customers and AR updated on pricing structures and adjustments
• Assist with current and future flock projections
• Update daily markets for multiple needs for various departments along with weekly markets and market projections
• Review and update carton and freight pricing
• Review and validate customer rebate information
• Provide sales reports as determined by the Egg Sales Manager
• Communicate with customers and logistics regarding order status changes

• Associate’s Degree in sales or related business field, or a minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service related position
• Strong math skills are required
• Computer experience with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook
• This person must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work cooperatively in a small office setting. Knowledge of other office equipment (fax, phone, copier, etc.) is a plus.
