Position: Key Account Manager USA

Facil North America is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager for our North American Headquarters in Independence, Ohio.

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the customer relationship and for being the primary commercial liaison between Facil and the customer. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will focus on delivering excellent customer service, project management, and account management. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager, North America and works closely with the operations and purchasing divisions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze request for quotations (RFQ) from the customer
  • Manage customer’s RFQ in Sales Force through creation, follow up, offering, and reporting
  • Revise customer purchase orders and implement in Facil ERP system
  • Act as first point of contact to the customer and liaison with other Facil departments
  • Detect opportunities to increase turnover with OEM customer in services and/or parts
  • Manage the implementation and follow up of new projects
  • Revise and negotiate customer contracts with support from dedicated departments
  • Manage the responsibility of communication and distribution of contracts within the global organization
  • Monitor and safeguard margin
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or minimum bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, automotive experience is required, knowledge of fasteners is a plus, OEM account management experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as experience working successfully in cross-functional teams; able to create and deliver effective presentations via multiple mediums to individuals as well as varied groups of people.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships while balancing short-term needs and long-term objectives.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situations.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • PC proficiency required, including MS Office. Knowledge of an ERP package and CRM system (e.g., Sales Force) as well as any other industry-specific software is a plus.
