Postdoctoral Associate – Kner
Position Details: $55,000-$70,000 salary, funded for 2 years with possible extension. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Location:
Athens, GA.
- Development of Structured Illumination Microscopy System (50%)
- Preparation of manuscripts and reports (20%)
- Mentoring and supervising graduate students (20%)
- Lab management (10%)
- PhD in Engineering or Physics
- Background in optics research
- Experience with imaging and optical microscopy preferred
- Strong optical design and analysis skills
- Strong programming skills in Python and LabVIEW
- Effective communication skills
Position is exempt under FLSA.
Employment type:
full-time postdoctoral. The role will be housed in the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering.
