We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial molding and packaging equipment. The role also involves supporting general facility maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Main Responsibilities Equipment Installation and Preventive Maintenance- Install, set up, and calibrate industrial molding and packaging equipment.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and extend equipment lifespan.
- Perform minor modifications and adjustments to machinery to enhance performance and meet production requirements.
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques, such as condition monitoring and diagnostic tools, to identify potential issues before they impact production.
- Assess equipment health, analyze data trends, and plan maintenance actions accordingly.
- Diagnose technical problems in molding and packaging equipment using systematic methods to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Perform repairs independently or with guidance to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
- Assist with general facility maintenance beyond equipment-specific tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by addressing facility-related issues.
- Work collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with power transmission systems, industrial controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with programmable controllers.
- Competency in occupational math for measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and team-oriented skills.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance.
- Frequently use hands to handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 30 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
- Close vision required.
