Summary / ObjectiveA crane operator uses the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials in specific areas.

- Uses the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials in specific areas.
- Pre-check the crane before each use to ensure it is safe to use and ensure the safety of the work environment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees.
- Technical knowledge of how to properly use equipment.
- Knowledge of the types of exterior building materials being moved, placed, loaded, or unloaded.
- Understand all safety requirements for the job site.
