Equipment Operator

Find your path and enjoy the journey at Haley & Aldrich. This temporary position (approximately 6 months) is located on site in Hardin County, OH.

As a team, you will work with professionals dedicated to technical excellence and continuous learning, tackling clients’ meaningful challenges in the built and natural environments.

• Operate equipment, including Excavator, Tracked Dozer, Wheel Loader, Water Truck, Skid Steer, Motor Grader, Backhoe, and other applicable Class I–IV equipment.
• Perform manual labor in addition to equipment operation. May involve lifting up to 100 pounds or other construction-related tasks.
• May be required to work different shifts.
• Ensure safe working practices and conditions for the assigned crew.
• May work in confined spaces.

• OSHA 30-hour and/or general construction industry training courses.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to use operation manuals and manufacturer specifications for operating specialized equipment.
• Ability to prepare reports and records of work performed, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT physical required.
