This position is responsible for maintaining and inspecting lease spaces, open property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds. Assumes direct responsibility for maintenance of assigned areas. Performs preventative maintenance, making minor repairs, and supervising, directing, and assisting outside service personnel and vendors as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES- Completes inspections tests while maintaining logs and records reflecting the results.
- Performs maintenance on all security systems and door locks.
- Performs minor building and furniture modifications or repairs involving carpentry, painting, wiring, and overhauling.
- Provides assistance and direction on outside service and repair work, and assists outside representatives in repairing building equipment.
- Checks landscaping and irrigation system needs.
- Maintains grounds, parking lots, and driveways.
- Provides emergency 24-hour on-call service as required.
- Completes assigned maintenance functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and ADA/OSHA regulations.
- Assists in setting up new branches and departments.
This part-time position requires three 8-hour shifts per week.
The days are flexible and can be tailored to accommodate individual availability and business needs.
ON CALL REQUIREMENTMust be available to provide emergency 24/7-hour on-call service as required.
TRAVELThis position will travel frequently to address maintenance requests to all branches within the Kemba Credit Union network in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification: A minimum of one of the following: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Valid/Unexpired driver's license required.
Required KnowledgeKnowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenace procedures.
Basic understanding of blueprints and the operation of electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and plumbing equipment.
Experience RequiredOne year to three years of previous maintenance experience required.
Financial institution equipment experience preferred (Drive-Thru/CCTV/Alarms/Locks).
Skills/AbilitiesGood mechanical and problem solving abilities.
Well organized and able to work independently.
Able to coordinate well with others and assist others professionally.
Attentive to detail.
Able to operate drills, electrical tools, meters, timers, hand tools, and all related machinery.
