Horticulture Technician

Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for an experienced, professional Horticulture Technician who takes pride in their work, values teamwork and has an eye for remarkable craftsmanship! This is not just a lawn care position.

• Full-time
• 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift)
• Overtime available

• Material logistics and handling
• General duty landscaping tasks (planting, pruning, plant health)
• Aggregate, plant and mulch installations
• Artistic eye and attention to detail for high-end installations
• Ability to work in a clean, safe outdoor work environment in most weather conditions
• Professional client interaction
• Snow removal and plowing (required for full‑time, year‑round employment)

3+ years experience in hands-on landscape installation experience

• Demonstrated plant identification knowledge (Ohio native species)
• Experience with professional landscape equipment
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• ANSI A300 standard plant care knowledge
• Expert soil analysis
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
• Great teamwork skills with proactive initiative
