Backend Developer Opportunity
Are you a skilled Backend Developer looking to make a significant impact on a leading eCommerce platform? Join our team to design, build, test, and maintain backend components for scalable web and merchandising applications. Your work will directly shape the future of our technology platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Applications: Create backend eCommerce web and merchandising applications using cloud platform technologies.
- Collaborate: Partner with designers and product managers to refine and implement product designs.
- Full-Stack Collaboration: Work with engineers across the full stack to build and launch new features.
- Best Practices: Identify and uphold engineering best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance, identify usability issues, and implement fixes.
- Code Review and Planning: Review code, plan API upgrades, and collaborate with the development team.
Required Skills:
- Initiative and Quality: Self-starter with strong initiative, ability to deliver quality work under pressure.
- Business-Minded: Effective time, cost, and deadline management.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Modern Libraries and Tools: Experience with contemporary libraries and development tools.
- GO Programming: Proficiency in GO programming and data structures.
- Microservices Architecture: Extensive experience in microservices architecture and development.
- Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle, Postgres) and No
SQL (Cassandra) databases. - Messaging Systems: Expertise in messaging architectures and development, such as Kafka.
- RESTful APIs: Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and deep understanding of REST principles.
- Containerization and CI/CD: Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and writing unit/integration tests.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
