Driver CDL

Position Overview

Driver CDL located in West Chest­er, OH at the Logistics Branch – 8900 Global Way, West Chest­er, OH 45071. Delivering to Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.

Schedule:

Monday‑Saturday, 4 to 5 days a week. 3rd shift starts between 12‑4 am depending on the route (5×8 or 4×10 schedule) – 40 hours per week with OT opportunities.

Position represented by a labor union.

Overnight routes stay out 2 nights a week. Food and hotel are covered.

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.

• Must have a CDL‑Class A license and at least one year of proven safe driving experience.
• Preferred direct store delivery (DSD) experience.
• Must successfully pass a drug test, motor vehicle report (MVR), and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.

• Customer‑oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious convictions; DOT requires a clean record for the last ten years.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature‑controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times; able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Hourly pay rate: $28 per hour.
