Truck Driver CDL Class A OTR Solo

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dalton, Ohio — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Home at least every other weekend
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.59 per mile with 1900 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $30.01 per stop with 5‑6 stops per week
• Safety Bonus: $250 four times annually
• Loyalty Bonus: $2000 after 6 months and $2000 after 1 year
• Paid Training

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid)

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from prior employers within last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within last 3 years, or 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, or 5 years’ experience within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
