Class A CDL Semi Driver

Job Summary

Semi Driver responsible for the operation of a commercial motor vehicle to pick up raw material with a focus on prompt and efficient customer service.

• Run the established route, pick up raw materials, and weigh materials when returning to plant and at customer locations as needed.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean condition and conduct all safety checks and inspections of the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with state, federal, local regulations, company policies, and safety rules.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
• Complete all required company paperwork (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.) in accordance with company policies.
• Update the vehicle condition report daily.
• Maintain DOT hours of service using the onboard computer in accordance with company policy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Current CDL Class A holder with tanker endorsement and a clean MVR.
• Registered on the FMCSA Clearinghouse ().

• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable.
• Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.

• Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Frequently required to reach up with both arms to secure tarps, etc.
