Job SummaryBM2 Freight Services, Inc. is searching for a full-time Carrier Services Specialist to work at our Headquarters in Covington, KY. Our prospective Carrier Services Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining operational integrity by monitoring carrier performance, reviewing status changes and alerts, and ensuring all carriers meet compliance requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrates strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.

- Vet carriers using our onboarding platforms to confirm compliance
- Make decisions on the usability of a carrier if they do not meet our standard requirements
- Insurance policy validation
- Review of freight guard reports
- Review Watchdog reports
- Provide requested archived files when needed
- Effectively communicate and review requests from employees for insurance riders
- Ensure all carriers are being monitored
- Review all loads being transported on our surety bond and close out online with federal customs and border patrol
- Perform daily reviews of carriers that have status changes/carrier 411 and Safer Watch alerts
- After-hours work is required on an on-call basis
- Serve as backup for after-hours track and trace
- 2+ years' experience working in the logistics industry
- Prior carrier vetting experience (preferred)
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and technological skills
- Works well in a fast-paced team setting
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal/external customer service
- Strong time management and ability to deliver on timely deadlines
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Paid parking
- 8 AM - 5 PM weekly schedule
