Aircraft Servicer

Overview

Tanaq Government Services (TGS) provides facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to Federal customers. Services provided include complete building maintenance and operations on large complex individual buildings as well as multiple buildings on large campus type environments including military installations. TGS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.

We are seeking a full‑time Aircraft Servicer to provide onsite transient aircraft services and support at Fort Campbell, KY.

This is a fully onsite position at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

• Perform transient aircraft services, which include, but are not limited to, aircraft movement, aircraft operations, assisting concurrent servicing operations, safety management, special events support, emergency and exercise support, order and turn in of parts from the Air Force Supply System, requested vehicle escorts, and management of publications and forms.
• Perform these services to meet transient aircraft arrival, aircraft operations, and departure schedules established by the customer.
• Perform arrival services on all transient aircraft as directed and IAW applicable TOs and AFIs. This will include:
  Preposition AGE/Support Equipment;
  Provide Escort/Follow‑me Service;
  Marshall Aircraft to Spot;
  Ground Aircraft;
  Perform Hot Brakes/Hydrazine Inspections;
  Install Locks/Pins/Safeing devices;
  Connect/Operate AGE;
  Debrief;
  Report Aircraft Status;
  Retrieve Chutes.
• Perform transient aircraft processing services and provide aircraft servicing and ground handling, IAW applicable regulations, TOs and safety standards. This will include:
  Maintenance Support;
  Aircraft Inspections;
  Engine Oil Analysis (JOAP Samples);
  Visual Inspections;
  Oxygen and Fluid Checks;
  Tires and Shock Strut Inspections;
  Maintenance and Inspection Documentation;
  Refueling/Defueling;
  Towing;
  Securing Aircraft; AGE operation.
• Perform departure services on all transient aircraft as directed and IAW applicable TOs and AFIs. This will include:
  Brief Aircraft Status and Fuel Load to Flight Crew;
  Operate AGE;
  Remove Covers/Chocks/Ground Wires/Safety Devices;
  Perform Parking Spot FOD inspection;
  Assist with Engine Start;
  Marshal Aircraft;
  Remove AGE.
• Perform emergency services, including emergency response, emergency and exercise support, emergency towing, disaster preparedness response, fuel spills response, anti‑theft/hijack procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Prior experience providing onsite transient aircraft services and support for military and/or commercial aircraft preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Human relations skills to build effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common‑sense skills.
• Abide by the Federal Drug‑Free workplace policy.
• Must be able to pass background check requirements as set by clients.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must possess and maintain, or be eligible to obtain, a NACI clearance. Must be able to pass a National Agency Check Investigation.
• United States citizenship is required.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
