The Barren River District Health Department is seeking a part‑time Mobile Health Unit Driver to support our outreach and public health initiatives across our eight‑county district.
Responsibilities- Drive the mobile unit to scheduled events.
- Set up and break down the mobile unit at event sites.
- Maintain cleanliness of the unit and coordinate its maintenance.
- Assist with vehicle detailing and upkeep.
- Support events during normal business hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must pass a health screening to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
- CDL not required, but experience with sprinter‑type or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to counties within the BRDHD service area.
Hourly rate ranges from $7.25 to $50.00.
