Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are picked according to customer specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within our operations.
Compensation$24.00 an hour (Based on Experience)
Shifts AvailableDays 7am to 5pm
Essential Functions &Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders based on customer requests and shipping schedules.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Standup Forklift Preferred.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking.
- Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
