Position Description
Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our Facility at Ryder in Etna, Ohio. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment.
- $16.50 per hour

- Learn to operate powered industrial equipment: stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 6 months of related warehouse experience (required)
- 1 year or more related experience (preferred)
- Certifications:
powered‑industrial truck; ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks - Experience operating automated or manual manufacturing equipment (packaging line) (preferred)
- Ability to read, perform basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Input data into WMS computer system(s)
- Work overtime as assigned
- Build professional relationships at all levels; work independently and as a team member
- Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, highly organized, detail oriented
- Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning, train dock employees, secure facility at shift end, investigate/resolve scanning issues; perform picking and packing; check for product or container damage
- Perform tasks as per location’s policies and procedures including handling of materials within associated logical transactions
- Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions
- Participate in workgroup and team activities for self‑improvement and warehouse operations
- Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area
- Perform other duties as assigned
