Branch​/Yard Assistant

We are looking for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our Longtown site. If you enjoy hands‑on work, pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service, and thrive as part of a friendly, supportive team, this could be a great opportunity for you.

• Providing customers with product and service information
• Picking customer orders accurately
• Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Processing orders accurately, within the time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serving customers on the trade counter when required
• Delivering goods using the company pick‑up when required

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Literacy and numeracy
• A hardworking and helpful individual, ready to be trained in all aspects of our operation
• Understanding of health and safety in a work environment
• Forklift licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of computers
