Supervisor of Construction

The St. Tammany Parish School Board is accepting applications for the position of Supervisor of Construction
.

• Twelve (12) month position
• Excellent benefits package
• Salary range: $92,180 – $130,430
  , based on experience

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in building design and construction industry
• Working knowledge of programming, design, and construction administration
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, or a related field strongly desired; or experience as a licensed general contractor
• Experience with public/government construction projects, design, bidding, budget processes, and school construction is preferred

The Supervisor of Construction oversees and administers School Board construction and design projects, including management of design service agreements, construction contracts, project coordination, and owner representation throughout the design and construction process. The Supervisor coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, school administrators, and utility providers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, and School Board policies.
