General Laborer

Red Ox Construction is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our civil construction team. The General Laborer will assist skilled tradespeople, operators, and project supervisors with a variety of construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, cleanup, excavation support, and general jobsite duties.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing demanding work, and willing to work as part of a team in varying outdoor conditions.

• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and general civil construction activities.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist equipment operators and skilled workers as directed.
• Perform digging, shoveling, raking, spreading, and other manual labor.
• Assist with installation of pipe, drainage systems, forms, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Perform demolition, removal, and disposal of construction materials when required.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
• Follow instructions from foremen, supervisors, and project managers.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and jobsite procedures.
• Assist with traffic control and site protection when required.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
