Clinical Lab Scientist Laboratory Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Lab Scientist in a fast-paced hospital setting and play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory diagnostics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within core laboratory and blood bank sections, including trauma and MTP blood bank environments, for a dedicated 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret laboratory tests in core and blood bank sections, including trauma and MTP procedures. Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results. Work night shifts (20:30 - 07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support trauma and emergency procedures. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of hospital clinical laboratory experience. Proficiency with Epic laboratory information system. Strong knowledge of trauma and blood bank operations. Experience handling trauma/MTP blood bank workflows. Must have ASCP certification and LA license. Comfortable working night shifts and alternating schedules. Nice to Have
Skills:
Prior experience in a Level II trauma center. Familiarity with pediatric or specialized blood bank procedures. Additional certifications related to laboratory technology. Preferred
Education and Experience:
Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Experience working in high-acuity hospital environments. Previous experience with Epic LIS. Other Requirements:
Must be willing to work alternating 7-day on, 7-day off shifts, including weekends. No first-time travelers accepted; candidates should have current hospital experience. Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and related expenses covered when applicable. Professional attire:
Caribbean Blue scrubs.
