Floor Technician (Full Time and Part Time)

Join Crothall Healthcare at Ochsner Health Center Covington to work as a Floor Technician. We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time positions.

  : $14.00–$15.00 per hour

  Floorcare experience preferred; willing to train

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp‑surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
