Enviro-Tech Systems is seeking a dependable, hardworking Shop Helper to support the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of industrial water-treatment equipment.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to build hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside welders, fabricators, pipe fitters, assemblers, and other shop personnel while helping keep production moving safely and efficiently.

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of water-treatment equipment, tanks, piping, skids, and related components.
• Gather, move, stage, and organize materials, parts, tools, and equipment for shop projects.
• Clean, grind, deburr, and prepare metal and plastic components for fabrication and assembly.
• Assist with basic cutting, drilling, measuring, fitting, and fastening tasks under supervision.
• Support welders, fabricators, pipe fitters, assemblers, and other shop personnel as directed.
• Load and unload materials, deliveries, equipment, and finished products safely.
• Package completed equipment and parts for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, aisles, tools, and storage locations.
• Perform general shop housekeeping, including sweeping, scrap removal, and proper waste disposal.
• Inspect tools and equipment before use and promptly report damaged tools, defects, or unsafe conditions.
• Follow supervisor direction, work instructions, shop drawings, and company safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and maintain awareness of surrounding shop operations.
• Assist with inventory counts and notify supervisors when materials or shop supplies are running low.
• Perform additional shop, production, and warehouse duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, mechanical, or general labor experience is helpful, but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands‑on trade skills.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Basic measuring skills, including the ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently when needed and collaborate effectively with a shop team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, productive, and organized workplace.
