Part-time Radiation Oncology Team member in Covington, LA.
Schedule
:
Day Shift – Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
Scope
:
Under the direction of the Clinic Manager and Navigation Manager, coordinates new patient care/requests through new patient intake and scheduling for all physicians. Facilitates scheduling of all new patients with physician and nursing input along with patient access prior to their first appointment and works with navigation when appropriate. Handles all outgoing referrals to outside physicians when applicable.
- Coordinates new patient intake and care for all physicians.
- Facilitates the scheduling of all new patients with Physician and nursing input along with patient access and SELROG physicians in accordance to acuity and need.
- Outgoing referrals management.
- Nursing License:
Must hold a valid and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Louisiana. Applications from both Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) are welcome. - Educational Background: RNs must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. An associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) may be considered. LPNs should have a diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited program.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; oncology experience highly preferred.
