CertificationsRequired:
Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Excellent organizational and time management skills with self‑directed judgment.
- Good interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Employ the nursing process in delivering patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation.
- Provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate for patient ages.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, guests, family, and co‑workers to ensure a quality experience.
- Adapt positively to rapid changes throughout the day as unit/department needs shift.
- Manage professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge, skills, training, and credentials.
- Perform other related duties as required.
