RN-Registered Nurse // Cardiovascular Operating Room $1,246 weekly stipends $37.00 - $39.97/hour $1,480.0 - $1,598.8 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 7/01/2026 14 weeks

Shift: Day Shift, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

RN – Cardiovascular First Assist, Cardiovascular Operating Room

• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties in the operating room.
• Assist the surgeon and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Adhere to patient privacy, safety, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient information and data entry using hospital information systems.
• Respond to changes in patient status and support the surgical procedure as needed.

• Education
  :
  Registered Nurse diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum 5 years operating room experience.
• Licensure and Certifications
  :
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • RNFA certification.
  • Preferred:
    Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR).
• Key Skills and Attributes
  :
  • Computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications and relevant surgical software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing surgical environments and patient needs.
  • Strong judgment and competency in assisting the surgeon.

Requires ability to lift up to 20–50 lbs occasionally, stand for prolonged periods, use mechanical lifting devices, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call availability.

Physical exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential infection hazards. Occupational risk of hazardous medications and waste.
