Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Job Description

Functions as a point person/coordinator of services for oncologists and oncology patients. Promotes the smooth transition of patient care from entry into the MBPCC system until completion of treatment and throughout the follow-up process.

• Coordination of patient care services.
• Specialized nursing care of oncology patients.
• Phone triage.
• Patient education.
• Preparation of charts.
• Scheduling PET and CT scans.

• Active LPN license in the state of Louisiana.
• Active BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing; oncology experience preferred.

Location:

Primarily at the clinic in Covington, LA, with support at the clinic in Slidell, LA as needed. Candidates who can accommodate both locations will be considered first.
