TREO Med Staff is seeking compassionate
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)to join an established Pediatric Day Center caring for medically fragile children and young adults (birth through age 21).
For more than 13 years, this center has provided a safe, nurturing environment where children receive skilled nursing care while working toward developmental goals and school readiness. Their team is close-knit, supportive, and passionate about making a difference in every child's life.
We're hiring for:
- Full-Time: 4 days per week (typically Tuesday-Friday)
- Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
- 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Day shifts only
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holidays
- 1:5 patient ratio
- Paid orientation and training

As an LPN, you'll provide compassionate, individualized nursing care for children with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Medication administration
- Patient assessments and vital signs
- Continuous patient monitoring
- Feeding tube and tracheostomy care
- Personal hygiene and total patient care
- Paper documentation and charting
- Collaborating with therapists, nurses, and leadership
- Communicating with families regarding patient care
- Assisting with housekeeping and laundry as part of the care team
This is a highly collaborative environment where everyone works together to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications Required- Active Louisiana LPN License (no restrictions)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Minimum2 years of experience caring for medically fragile pediatric patients in a similar setting
- Experience using a
Hoyer Lift - Ability to safely lift, transfer, and care for fully dependent patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Tracheostomy experience (training available for the right candidate)
- PALS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Compassionate

- Physically capable of caring for fully dependent patients
- A strong communicator

- Interested in building a long-term career
- Scrubs (any color)
- Scrub pants with a T-shirt or sweatshirt are acceptable
- No graphic T-shirts
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Stud earrings only; no facial piercings
- Paper charting
- Facility-specific orientation provided
- Clinicians work alongside contracted therapists throughout the week
- Timekeeping completed through a geofenced time clock system with daily sign-in/out
