Server Covington, LA

Christwood is seeking a dedicated and professional Server to join our dining services team. This position offers flexible part‑time or full‑time hours—with no late nights required.

Under the supervision of the Front‑of‑House (FOH) Leads, the Server is responsible for providing courteous and efficient meal service to residents and their guests in our dining room. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with kitchen service and cleanup as needed.

• Pre‑setting tables in assigned area and following serving and cleaning procedures as outlined.
• Be familiar with the menu for the day with special regard to chef specials.
• Being courteous to residents and their guests.
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining proper training and certification as required by the state for alcohol service.
• Remembers resident names and is alert to the likes and dislikes of residents when serving food and making the Dining Leads promptly aware of any problems.
• Attends in‑service training sessions with co‑workers to keep abreast of current knowledge in the field.
• Maintains a working knowledge of Therapeutic Diets, Allergy Precautions, and Serv Safe Food Handlers Guidelines.
• Reports damaged or broken items to the FOH Lead.
• Performs other specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
• Has flexible schedule/availability in order to cover shifts from 6 am to 7 pm as needed, as well as weekends, holidays, and natural disasters.

• High school graduate.
• A minimum of three years experience in the food industry (preferably with both front and back of house experience).
• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with and be tolerant of residents, guests, peers, subordinates, other department staff and supervisors.
