Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating daily delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Verify that deliveries meet company standards for accuracy and condition.
- Assist with tracking deliveries, returns, and inventory movement.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery performance and incidents.
- Help onboard and train new delivery staff on procedures and safety protocols.
- Provide ongoing coaching to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines.
- Report and address any safety hazards or compliance issues immediately.
- Track KPIs such as NILs (Not in Location) and PPH (Pieces per Hour).
- Provide input for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Monitor unloading, putaway, and picking of merchandise to be delivered to customers.
