Sales Floor Lead Essential Functions Responsibilities

• 1. Tousethecashregistertomaketotalsales,accept payment;authorize voids,returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• 2. Toensureproperrotation ofstoremerchandise.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. To stock thesales floor adequately. To create a positivepublicimageof Goodwill throughacleanstoreenvironment,attractivedisplaysandpresentable,personable personnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditionsintheshoppingareas.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.

• 8. Tobeabletoperformthejob duties ofSales Floor Associates .
• 9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.
• 10. Toensurethefloorcheckiscompleteddailyandtoensuremonthlysafetyself- inspections are conducted.
• 11. Toensureallnewhiresareproperlyoriented,usingtheappropriatemanual,within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.
• 12. Toassistthestoremanagerincontrollingtheexpensetorevenueratiomonthlyandannually.
• 13. Toassistintrainingandmentoringof Sales Floor Associatesandcourt -appointed community service workers, as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• 14. Toassistinsupervising,discipliningandrecommendingdischargeofsalesassociates to the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• 15. Tomonitorandassist inthereceiving,pricing and displayingofstoremerchandise.
• 16. Torecordandbalancecashregisterreceipts,makebankdepositsandrecordstoretransactions.
• 17. Toassistinthe preparationofpersonneland payrollrecordsin atimely manner.
• 18. Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthestore.
• 19. Anyotherjob-relateddutiesasrequestedbymanagement.

• 1. Toassistthe Store Manageror Production Managerinachieving /exceeding production goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.
• 2. Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayofpeople.
• 3. Mustbeabletomarket Goodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneralpublic.
• 4. Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance.
• 5. Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long hours.
• 6. Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hanging and zipping garments.
• 7. Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching.
• 8. Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.

• 1. HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• 2. Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin

• 3. Priorworkexperienceintheserviceindustrypreferred.
• 4. Mustsuccessfullycomplete Retail training.

Frequentphysicalexertion,frequent movement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
