Position:
Facilities Maintenance Technician / Electrician.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance following established schedules and guidelines; inspect, clean, and repair facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Document signs of wear and tear, gather capital expense information, recommend repair and replacement needs.
• Conduct major and minor repairs using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material‑handling equipment, and food equipment; diagnose issues via blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment; respond promptly to emergency calls.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors; complete written and electronic documentation (expense vouchers, summaries, logs).
• Compare prices for parts and travel costs, order and track parts, record purchases and usage, submit warranty claims.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and with Walmart quality and safety standards; monitor contractor performance.
• Unload and store equipment, transport equipment between facilities.
• Lead or participate in teams, coordinate assignments, provide feedback, and model adaptability.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs; analyze progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist management in addressing issues.

• At least 2 years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in the state of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program.
• Intermediate proficiency in word‑processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
