Customer Service Representative; Covington, TN

Performs a variety of new account opening and operational functions running efficiently. Contribute to the growth of the bank products and services.

• Maintains thorough knowledge of bank products and services along with features and benefits of those offerings.
• Fully understand and adhere to all Federal and State laws, policies of the bank and able to handle conflict situations.
• Cross sells bank products and services.
• Opens new accounts for customers and maintenances accounts for existing customers.
• Receives, pays out cash, handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits withdrawals and transfers.
• Sets up, closes and balances teller station.
• Solves customer problems and responds to other customer requests.
• Exercise judgement when applying holds and making account opening decisions.
• Maintains positive, friendly and professional attitude, appearance and willingness to be a team player.
• Customer Service Representatives report to the designated Branch Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 12-18 months customer services related experience.
• Able to handle more complex customer requests and use independent judgement.
• Technical skills to operate Microsoft Office and other bank related computer programs.
• Strong customer relations skills and the ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
• Must be a self-starter, dependable and able to work within deadlines under pressure.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
