Role Description

The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Covington, TN. This role supports commercial insurance clients by answering inquiries about policies, coverages, and billing, and by providing timely, accurate information. Daily responsibilities include processing policy changes, issuing certificates of insurance, preparing quotes, and assisting with renewals in coordination with producers and account managers. The representative will handle incoming calls and emails, document all client interactions, and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

The role also involves working with carriers and internal systems to resolve issues, maintain up-to-date client records, and support office operations as needed.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to client needs.
  • Ability to foster positive Customer Experience and maintain high Customer Satisfaction through clear communication and follow-through.
  • Experience working as or with Customer Service Representatives in a professional services or insurance environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance (e.g., general liability, property, auto, workers’ compensation) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency with office software and agency management systems, or demonstrated ability to learn new systems efficiently.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
