We are seeking a Production Technician 1 responsible for operating and maintaining equipment within a manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality, safety, and cleanliness. Key duties include following work instructions, conducting lab testing, coordinating with supervisors to meet production goals, maintaining equipment, performing sanitation, and adhering to GMP and biosecurity procedures. The role requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Candidates should have experience in food manufacturing or related fields, basic knowledge of laboratory testing, and adaptability to various work conditions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 75+ pounds, and exposure to machinery, chemicals, and varying temperatures. The position involves working in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility, emotional stability, and good communication skills.
Prior food industry experience preferred, with strong recordkeeping, basic math, and equipment understanding. Basic English skills are advantageous.
Materials/Equipment Used:Forklifts, manufacturing tools, office equipment.
Work Environment:Hot, cold, humid, dusty conditions, with physical and mental adaptability necessary for success.
