Role Overview

The Quality Engineer is part of the Site Quality Team and reports to the Site Quality Manager. The main purpose of the role is to drive the highest quality standards and performance through continuous improvement in the areas of Quality and business waste, using tools, statistical capability, and methodology to reduce quality defects and losses.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement by identifying top losses and executing collaborative improvement methods and tools to counter identified losses.

Serve as a quality representative for innovation projects, driving compliance, growth, and consumer love.

Lead sanitation and process improvement projects, and participate in developing and deploying new approaches, processes and tools to raise capability.

Ensure execution of quality and sanitation validations and verifications across the facility.

Collaborate with R&D and other Supply Chain functions to enable key work streams supporting business growth.

Provide quality updates to key stakeholders and offer technical expertise as a SME to support risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.

Qualifications

University degree in a technical discipline or sciences.

Preferred qualifications include Engineering or Food Science/Technology.

Preferred 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or R&D, with additional experience in manufacturing considered a plus.

An affinity for change management and digital solutions.

Technical Requirements
  • Applied knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22716, Allergen Management, Food Safety, FSSC
    22000 (or similar GFSI Standard), FDA
    21CF
    R210, etc.
  • Basic proficiency in MS tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in SPC processes and tools.

Compensation

Pay range: $88,600 to $133,000.

Bonus:
This position is bonus eligible.
