Role

Purpose:

Lead the store from the floor, energize and develop a high‑performing team, and drive operational excellence.

• Lead with presence – be the face, voice, and pace of the store.
• Grow a powerhouse team through coaching, feedback, and celebration.
• Keep operations humming – freight flowing, zones looking sharp, and priorities clear.
• Manage labor efficiently to meet business goals while staying on budget.
• Drive sales on the floor – model selling behaviors, guide your team, and ensure customers leave happy.
• Create a positive, fun, high‑performing culture.
• Pivot quickly when needed – adapt to fast changes.
• Show up with integrity, own outcomes, and foster trust.

• 5–10+ years of leadership experience, with proven results.
• Experience managing a store or large department (retail preferred).
• Track record of promotion from assistant or co‑manager roles.
• Comfort leading in fast‑paced, high‑volume, or high‑complexity environments.
• Strong coaching, communication, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Creative thinking and composure under pressure.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3years of management experience (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, creative thinking, and maintain composure.

• Operate computer and printer; occasionally cash register.
• Operate ladders, pallet jacks, handheld devices.
• Lift up to 25lb; move merchandise up to 5‑10ft; remain in stationary position 80% of time.
• Flexible schedule – days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical demands: kneel, bend, twist, stoop; retrieve and put away stock.
• Communicate with customers and teammates via telephone and face‑to‑face.
